Your vehicle’s license can either be renewed with the original reminder that you receive through the post, OR with the following:

If you have moved then you will have to change your address to ensure that you receive licensing reminders or any other notifications. For this you need the following:

RE-REGISTER
e-Register documentation is required when you have paid off your car at the bank or a similar financial aid institution. We need you to bring in the following:

NOTICE OF CHANGE OF OWNERSHIP
A notice of change of ownership must be submitted whenever a vehicle is sold. The vehicle registration system is updated with the details of the new owner of the vehicle. Please send us the following:
Identity Document of the buyer (person receiving the vehicle)
Identity Document of the seller (person who is relinquishing the vehicle)

DEREGISTRATION OF MOTOR VEHICLE
The following is required for the deregistration of motor vehicles, motorcycles, trailers, semi-trailers, trucks and caravans:

COMPANY REGISTRATION CERTIFICATE (BRN)
A company or business must provide us with the following if they wish to register a vehicle in the company name for the first time:

Whenever a trust or a non-profit organisation wishes to register vehicles in it’s name then it must follow this procedure. Please bring in the following:
